Abandoned home destroyed in Smith County fire

Fire crews battled an eight and a half grassfire burning in Smith County on Wednesday afternoon.

A woman was shot while inside her vehicle at a Henderson intersection and the suspect was later found dead, police say.

A chase that began in Lindale with a suspect firing shots at an officer ended in Tyler with his arrest.
